Build Great Projects. Lead Great Teams.

KIRCO MANIX Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for a field construction professional who is ready to take ownership of projects, lead subcontractors and field teams, and play an important role in delivering high-quality projects for our clients.

The Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day field leadership and execution of assigned construction projects, with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, coordination, and overall project success. Working closely with the Project Manager and project team, this individual serves as a key on-site representative of KIRCO MANIX and helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to our standards for quality and craftsmanship.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day field operations for assigned construction projects.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and site activities to maintain project schedules and milestones.
  • Develop and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules and proactively identify potential schedule impacts.
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Promote and enforce a strong culture of jobsite safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable safety requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship, quality, and project progress.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Assistant Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, owners, and other project stakeholders.
  • Lead subcontractor coordination meetings, safety meetings, and other field-related project meetings as needed.
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation to support field execution.
  • Identify potential conflicts or challenges early and work collaboratively with the project team to develop solutions.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, deliveries, site logistics, and sequencing of work.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and field documentation.
  • Assist with project closeout, punch-list completion, commissioning, and turnover activities.
  • Build productive relationships with subcontractors and project partners while holding teams accountable for performance.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Assistant Superintendents and other developing field team members.
  • Represent KIRCO MANIX professionally with clients, partners, subcontractors, and the surrounding community.

What We’re Looking For

  • Approximately 5+ years of commercial construction experience, with demonstrated experience in field supervision or project leadership.
  • Experience independently managing significant portions of a commercial construction project or serving as the lead Superintendent on projects of moderate size and complexity.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods, sequencing, scheduling, and jobsite operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety practices and the ability to actively lead a safe jobsite.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades while maintaining schedule and quality expectations.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships while holding project partners accountable.
  • Comfortable using construction technology and project management tools.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to assigned project locations as required.

What Success Looks Like

A successful KIRCO MANIX Superintendent is a hands-on field leader who takes ownership of the jobsite, anticipates challenges before they affect the project, communicates effectively with the entire project team, and holds themselves and others accountable.

You will be expected to deliver projects that meet KIRCO MANIX's standards for safety, quality, schedule, and cost while creating a professional and collaborative experience for our clients and project partners.
