Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Attorney with experience in bankruptcy law to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This contract position with the potential for permanent employment offers the opportunity to work on complex bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 11, Chapter 7, and Chapter 13 filings, while collaborating with clients and legal professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting skills and a thorough understanding of debtor-side bankruptcy proceedings.

Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with first-day motions and provide guidance throughout the bankruptcy process.
• Review, analyze, and draft schedules, adversary complaints, and other legal documents.
• Evaluate documents submitted by clients and ensure accuracy in all legal filings.
• Collaborate with paralegals to oversee and review their work for quality and compliance.
• Offer expertise on Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, focusing on debtor-side representation.
• Provide legal support for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases, as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and address concerns.
• Stay updated on bankruptcy laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Develop strategies for successful case outcomes and advocate for client interests.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of legal documentation and case management.• Must be a licensed attorney in the state of Florida.
• Proven experience handling bankruptcy cases, including Chapters 11, 7, and 13.
• Strong ability to draft legal motions, adversary complaints, and related documents.
• Knowledge of debtor-side bankruptcy processes and legal strategies.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple cases effectively.
• Proficient in reviewing legal schedules and documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, paralegals, and other legal professionals.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex legal concepts to clients.
