TITLE, SALARY & WORK LOCATION:

STOCKROOM CLERK

$17.78 to $22.12 Hourly | Compensation within this range is determined based on the candidate’s experience, education, and degree of alignment with the role requirements

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking for a Stockroom Clerk to receive, store, and issue materials, supplies, and merchandise and compiles stock records in stockroom or warehouse.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Pulls materials for work orders according to pick list.
  • Pulls materials for stock requisitions as required.
  • Experience handling electronic components.
  • Familiar with ESD processes.
  • Follows first in, first out inventory rule.
  • Counts, sorts, or weighs required parts to satisfy work orders/stock requisitions.
  • Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
  • Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual cycle counts of stock as required.
  • Fills back orders.
  • Notifies management of inventory discrepancies.
  • Properly identifies parts physically as per policy.
  • Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
  • Cuts stock to size to fill order if necessary.
  • Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.
  • Maintains inventory and other stock records.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Capacity to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Effective communication skills for team collaboration

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience handling electronic components.
  • Inventory Management Experience
