Overview
Now Hiring– Business Litigation Attorney
Located: St. Petersburg, FL 33701
Hours: 8:30-5:00, Mon- Fri
Salary: $90k-119k based on skills and experience.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Litigation Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in business and commercial law. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, strategic thinker, and capable of managing complex litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in business and commercial litigation, including contract disputes, partnership disagreements, shareholder issues, and business torts.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and legal correspondence.
- Conduct legal research, discovery, depositions, and case analysis.
- Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
- Advise clients on litigation risks, case strategy, and potential outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and outside parties to support case development.
- Manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with the state bar in Florida.
- Minimum 3 years of litigation experience, specifically in business or commercial disputes.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing fast-paced workloads.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with complex commercial litigation.
- Familiarity with arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
- Trial experience is a plus.
