Job DescriptionThe Ford Agency is partnering with a prestigious DC law firm in their search for a professional and engaging Receptionist to support front office operations and provide administrative support to the team. Our client is seeking a poised individual who will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors and manage administrative logistics to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the Washington, DC office. This is a temporary role with the potential for permanent hire.
Responsibilities Include:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and guests, fostering a warm and professional atmosphere
• Manage the front desk, answer and direct phone calls professionally and relay messages
• Assist visitors with visitor badges and set up visitor offices
• Provide administrative support for the weekly conference center schedule
• Assist with proofreading and preparing meeting materials, client letters, and other documents
• Maintain the appearance of conference rooms, pantries, and lobby areas
Qualifications Include:
• 1+ years of reception and administrative experience; professional services environment preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service oriented
• Discretion, sound judgment, and ability to handle confidential information
Compensation:
• $25/hr Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
