Location: N. Oklahoma City, OK 73131 / 100% on-site

Pay: $19.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Legal Secretary/Legal Administrative Assistant to join a busy legal office in North Oklahoma City. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively support multiple attorneys, and enjoys handling a variety of legal and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have prior legal office experience, a strong understanding of legal terminology, and the ability to adapt quickly as priorities change. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys simultaneously.
  • Draft, proofread, and prepare legal correspondence and documents.
  • Conduct legal research and gather supporting information for case files.
  • Prepare and file court documents electronically and in person, as needed.
  • Compile and summarize medical records for legal matters.
  • Review case files, identify missing information, and perform in-depth research to uncover critical details.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Assist with additional administrative and legal support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Administrative Assistant, or in a similar legal support role preferred.
  • Working knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documentation.
  • Experience with legal research and court filings is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively support multiple attorneys.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and able to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
