McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC is seeking an IT Generalist to join our Information Technology team. At McNees, we believe our people are our greatest asset. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety - providing first-tier support, managing deployments, and collaborating on system improvements. You'll play a key role in ensuring our technology runs smoothly while staying ahead of emerging trends.
What You'll Do
- Resolve help desk tickets and provide deskside support.
- Manage workstation standards, imaging, and deployments.
- Install and maintain desktop applications.
- Configure mobile devices and manage printers/peripherals.
- Administer telephone systems and audio/visual setups.
- Handle user onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Support video conferencing systems.
- Perform routine production support tasks, including patching and permissions changes.
- Provide basic Microsoft Intune and Entra administration.
- Collaborate on projects to implement and improve systems.
- Monitor hardware/software licensing and asset management.
- Participate in on-call rotations and occasional after-hours work.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Computing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in a similar role with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in a law firm or professional services setting preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP network.
- Proficiency with Windows-based desktop systems.
- Familiarity with Office 365, document management systems, collaboration tools, MFA, and mobile technology.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
