Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to join a busy downtown Los Angeles law firm. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting attorneys in civil litigation matters, with a strong background in insurance defense and premises liability cases.

Responsibilities:

Provide litigation support from case inception through trial

Draft and file pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence

Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery requests

Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and expert scheduling

Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines

Communicate with clients, carriers, court personnel, and opposing counsel

Assist with trial preparation and exhibit organization
Qualifications:
-
Paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience

Prior civil litigation paralegal experience required

Insurance defense and premises liability experience strongly preferred

Familiarity with California court rules and e-filing systems

Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
