Front Desk / Guest Services Associate
Samesun San Francisco Hostel | $20/hr | 24 hrs/week

We are hiring for ourFront Desk / Guest Services Associateteam. Youll join a friendly, family-like group part of theSamesun Nation, a network of hostels throughout the US and Canada.
Pay & Schedule
$20 per hour
MondayWednesday 2:00 PM 10:00 PM(24 hours per week)
What Youll Do
As the face of our hostel, you will:
Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out, reservations, and inquiries.
Provide excellent customer service and accurate local recommendations.
Handle phone calls, emails, and front desk administrative tasks.
Keep the front desk and common spaces clean, organized, and welcoming.
Work closely with housekeeping to ensure smooth operations.
Enforce hostel policies professionallyand confidently when needed dont be afraid to say no when required.
Lift up to50 lbswhen needed
Pitch in with other duties when the team needs you (multi-hat role).
Extra duties may be assigned by the Manager.
This role ismulti-faceted youll be serving guestsandhelping the hostel function smoothly behind the scenes.
Who You Are
Were looking for someone who:
Loves hospitality and enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life.
Has a positive, helpful attitude and strong communication skills.
Is comfortablewearing multiple hats handling guest service, organization, and maintaining our space.
Knows how to enforce rules and standards with kindness and confidence.
Has basic computer skills and can learn reservation/front desk systems.
Previous hospitality or guest service experience is aplus but not required if youre eager to learn.
A high school diploma or equivalent is sufficient.

Experience (preferred):
1+ year of hotel or accommodations guest services experience(front desk, reservations, or similar hospitality role).
1+ year of customer service experiencein a guest-facing environment.
