Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Critical Care ICU position requiring 1-2 years of acute care experience and night shift availability.
Details\n

- Work in the Neuro Critical Care ICU of a 295-bed acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility
- Patient ratios of 4:1 on day shift and 5:1 on night shift
- Uses Meditech EHR system
- 13-week assignment

Requirements\n

- Active RN license (Kentucky or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- 1-2 years of acute care experience required
- AHA certifications required

Additional Information\n

- Provide critical care nursing services within a neurosurgery program accredited as a Spine Center
- Facility offers cardiac care and advanced neurosurgery services
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
- Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
