Job DescriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join the team at Silver State Sports Medicine, a thriving small, solo provider Primary Care Sports Medicine clinic. As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You will greet patients as they arrive, book appointments, answer phone calls, collect payment information, and verify health insurance. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking.

Hours:
Monday through Thursday, 8am - 5pm and Fridays 8am - 3pm
Occasionally may have to stay until 5:30pm on weekdays to finish clinic.
Responsibilities

  • Greet customers as they arrive and provide an excellent customer experience
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Assist clients with paperwork, including consent forms
  • Maintain a clean and inviting environment
  • Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services
  • Coordinates office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies
  • Maintains inventory of office supplies
  • Manages clinic schedule
  • Communicates effectively and efficiently with patients and workers compensation adjusters
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by provider

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or other related field.
  • Experience: Previous front office or administrative experience in a medical practice preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Familiar with computers and scheduling/practice management software
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
