Rockland Federal Credit Union is seeking an IT Manager to lead and support our technology operations. The IT Manager plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our systems while supporting staff, strengthening cybersecurity, and enhancing the overall employee and member experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily IT operations, including network infrastructure, servers, cloud services, and end-user systems
• Manage system maintenance activities such as upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning and testing
• Ensure the security and integrity of systems by maintaining cybersecurity controls aligned with regulatory and industry standards
• Monitor for threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents; lead response and remediation efforts
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, audits, and risk assessments, including NCUA, FFIEC, and GLBA expectations
• Lead, coach, and develop IT staff while managing priorities and performance
• Manage third-party vendors, including contracts, service levels, and ongoing performance
• Lead and support IT projects including system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and digital initiatives
• Partner with leadership to align technology strategy with business goals and identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation
• Oversee IT budget planning and cost management
• Ensure delivery of responsive and effective technical support across the organization
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• 5–8 years of progressive IT experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility
• Experience within a financial institution or regulated environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, servers (Windows/Linux), virtualization, and cloud platforms
• Experience with cybersecurity tools and practices, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and monitoring solutions
• Familiarity with core banking systems and financial applications

In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, we're pleased to share that the base salary range for this position is $91,000 - $112,000 per year, excluding fringe benefits or potential incentives. If you're hired at Rockland Federal Credit Union, your final base pay will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and experience. We also take pay equity seriously and consider the internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please note that the range provided reflects the full base pay for this role. We also offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package designed to support your overall well-being and success.
