As part of our sales team, you will have the exciting responsibility of guiding customers through their vehicle purchasing journey. You'll be representing an award-winning lineup of Volkswagen vehicles, including popular SUVs, innovative EVs, stylish sedans, and versatile hatchbacks, renowned for their technology, safety, and value. In addition to our new Volkswagen inventory, you'll also be selling a wide variety of pre-owned vehicles.

$39-$150k/year (Commission-Based)

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers contacting our dealership by phone, in person, and online.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with our valued customers.
  • Proactively follow up with potential customers and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner with the goal of setting the next appointment.
  • Engage with customers through various communication channels, including text, phone, email, in-person conversations, and personalized video messages.
  • Conduct high-quality, professional demonstrations of our new and used vehicles.
  • Prepare and present sales quotes and trade-in evaluations.
  • Skillfully overcome objections and find effective solutions to finalize sales.
  • Inform and endorse optional vehicle protection packages.
  • Manage the vehicle delivery process, including providing a thorough vehicle tutorial and assisting with enrollment in connected car services.
  • Actively participate in professional networking events to build your client base.
  • Ensure that any customer complaints are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Generate customer referrals and encourage positive online reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • An energetic and self-motivated attitude.
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service.
  • General knowledge of basic computer systems and uses (email, internet, file saving, printing)
  • Availability to work a minimum two evenings per week (until 8:00 PM) and on Saturdays (we are closed on Sundays). Customer demands may require efforts outside of your scheduled hours.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A professional and well-groomed personal appearance.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and a review of your driving record.
