Job Description

Make a significant impact supporting high school students as a contract paraprofessional for a leading school district near Maple Grove, MN. Multiple openings are available at several high school campuses, where you'll play a key role in fostering a positive learning environment during a 90-day contract period with the opportunity for direct hire.

Responsibilities include partnering with classroom teachers and special education teams to deliver individualized and group support, assisting students as needed throughout the school day (including personal care tasks such as toileting), and helping maintain a safe, structured setting. The variety of school sites—Blaine, Champlin Park, and Coon Rapids High Schools—offers the flexibility to select the campus that best aligns with your interests and experience. Qualifications:

Highly qualified status through ONE of the following:• Passed the Minnesota Paraprofessional Exam (MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam)• Completed a minimum of 60 college credits (transcripts required)
Resume and required highly qualified documentation (exam score report or college transcripts) must be included for consideration
Commitment to assist with all support needs, including toileting
Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or educational assistant in a school setting preferred
Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
