Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

\n

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies
\n• Stand an average of 7-8 hours per workday and walk 6-7 hours per workday
\n• Competently set up and assist radiologist during procedures
\n• Work with EMR systems to generate and complete exam orders
\n• Perform, record, and analyze quality control data to maintain accuracy and precision
\n• Maintain safe and efficient working environment through equipment checks and cleaning
\n• Transport patients as needed
\n• Operate PACS systems for releasing and transmitting images
\n• Monitor department supply needs to ensure uninterrupted testing
\n• Complete regular in-house education and competencies for skill maintenance
\n• Contact service personnel and notify supervisors of malfunctioning equipment
\n• Must have flexibility in schedule and willingness to adjust hours and cover other shifts
\n• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and awkward weights up to 100+ lbs as needed
\n• Required to bend, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level frequently (20-30 times per day)
\n• Graduate from accredited ultrasound school required
\n• BLS certification required
\n• RVT registration preferred
\n• RDMS (AB, OB-GYN) preferred
\n• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
\n• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, regulated environment
