Job Title: Warranty and Repair Order Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warranty and Repair Order Specialist to join our logistics and distribution center for aircraft parts. This role is integral in ensuring the efficient management and processing of repair orders and warranty claims, while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage warranty claims and repair activities to ensure timely, quality, and cost-effective delivery of products and services.
  • Log and follow up on customer repair orders and warranty claims, ensuring supplier adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Keep internal and external customers informed on the status of repair, lease, exchange orders, and warranty claims.
  • Issue repair and exchange orders to approved suppliers and monitor supplier performance.
  • Prepare and present monthly performance reports on repair orders and warranty claims.
  • Oversee customer battery repair orders and invoicing processes.
  • Initiate and track improvement plans to ensure objectives are met.
  • Conduct follow-up sessions with suppliers to ensure service performance targets and turnaround times are met.
  • Collaborate with vendors and OEMs to manage customer returns and warranty claims.
  • Communicate changes in supplier performance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report market conditions and competitor activities affecting competitiveness.

Essential Skills

  • 2-5 years of experience in customer order management or supply chain, preferably within a repair or service-oriented context.
  • Proficient in customer service, order entry, data entry, and supply chain management.
  • Experience with repair orders, warranty claims, and customer order management.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft Excel.
  • Professional insight and experience with purchasing and logistics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in the aviation or aircraft parts industry is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • US Citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Work Environment

The position is based in an indoor, warehouse-type environment, operating on a day shift with a 5x8 schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medley, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.50 - $24.50/hr.
