Overview

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and patient-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Williamstown, Massachusetts. This is a critical-need full-time position at a skilled nursing facility (SNF), offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of residents while working within a flexible scheduling environment.

The role offers approximately 35 hours per week, with the center open to discussing weekday and weekend scheduling options. We are willing to work with the right candidate to find a schedule that makes sense for both the clinician and the needs of the center.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals

  • Provide skilled speech-language therapy using appropriate evidence-based techniques

  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated

  • Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

  • Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, dietary, and other interdisciplinary professionals

  • Participate in care planning and communicate resident progress

  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies

  • Promote patient safety, independence, communication, and quality of life

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Current Massachusetts SLP license or eligibility for licensure

  • ASHA certification or eligibility preferred

  • Strong clinical and communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach

  • Ability to work effectively independently and within an interdisciplinary team

  • Flexibility with scheduling

Schedule Flexibility
