Job Description

Hoplite Solutions is seeking a highly capable AWS Cloud Solutions Engineer to lead the design, automation, and integration of secure and scalable cloud solutions. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in AWS architecture, scripting with Python, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), networking, and modern DevOps practices. You’ll play a critical role in deploying automated infrastructure, integrating APIs, and supporting identity and networking solutions in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure.
Active Poly.
Automate infrastructure and deployment workflows using Python, AWS CDK, Terraform, and Ansible.
Develop, test, and deploy API integrations between cloud services and third-party platforms.
Configure and manage networking components including VPCs, subnets, routing, and cloud-native edge (CNE)-based networking.
Implement secure identity provider (IdP) integrations for access control and federated authentication.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build full-stack solutions, particularly integrating with JavaScript/TypeScript-based applications.
Ensure infrastructure and application configurations follow best practices in security, performance, and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

Strong expertise in AWS architecture, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or Terraform.
Solid understanding of core networking principles in AWS (e.g., VPC, subnets, NAT, routing, security groups).
Familiarity with identity provider integration (e.g., SAML, OIDC, Cognito, Okta).
Experience developing or supporting API integrations in distributed systems.
Working knowledge of configuration management using Ansible.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud-native edge (CNE) networking architectures.
Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript for front-end or API integration support.
Familiarity with AWS networking services like Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Network Firewall.
Experience with event-driven or serverless architecture patterns.
Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
