Job Description
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software across the stack — from C/C++ components close to hardware/controls to Java- or Python-based application and back-end logic to HTML/CSS/JavaScript front ends and dashboards
• Develop interfaces between PLC/controls systems and higher-level software (databases, reporting tools, ERP/NetSuite, and ticketing systems such as Jira)
• Build and maintain internal web-based tools and dashboards (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) for engineering, manufacturing, and quality workflows
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code, and choose the right language/tool for each problem in collaboration with Controls and Embedded Software Engineers
• Participate in requirements definition, design reviews (DR-1/DR-2/DR-3), and DFMEA/PFMEA discussions for software-relevant failure modes
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including software architecture diagrams, API specifications, and version control practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects identified during bring-up, validation testing, and field deployment
• Support production and field service teams with software-related training and fault diagnosis tools
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and CI/CD processes
