Job Summary:
Manage the operations of Cornerstone Management Communities. Ensure that the assisted living community is supported by high quality programs and services which allow residents to live in the most beneficial environment. Direct the organization in such a way that it meets the needs of the residents and complies with and meets the goals of regulatory agencies and Cornerstone Management Communities mission. Coordinate services with arranged home care provider as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Resident & Program Leadership
- Develop and oversee systems and services tailored to a diverse and high-needs senior population.
- Assess resident needs and develop programs that promote independence and quality of life.
- Address resident and family concerns with sensitivity and professionalism
- Support and attend resident activities, educational events, and special programming.
- Maintain strong relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and resident families.
- Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a large team across multiple disciplines.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring compliance with internal policies and state regulations.
- Provide ongoing feedback and conduct formal performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Operations & Compliance
- Ensure all policies and practices meet federal, state, and local regulations, including landlord-tenant law.
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting.
- Develop and implement emergency and disaster preparedness plans.
- Lead ongoing improvement initiatives based on resident feedback and quality metrics.
- Financial & Property Management
- Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
- Monitor expenses and revenues, identify variances, and take corrective action as needed.
- Oversee occupancy management, including marketing, leasing, and resident selection.
- Coordinate facility maintenance and ensure high standards of physical upkeep and curb appeal.
- Strategic & Community Development
- Partner with leadership on long-term planning and goal setting.
- Represent the organization in legal matters related to housing (e.g., unlawful detainer cases).
- Lead strategic initiatives that promote resident satisfaction, community engagement, and operational excellence.
- Build strong ties with local organizations and service providers to support residents’ well-being.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing operations in assisted living, senior housing, or healthcare environments.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for assisted living and landlord/tenant law.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising large teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Experience working with older adult populations and their families.
- Licensed as an Assisted living Director with BELTSS and must maintain a current and unrestricted licensure.
- At least 3 years experience in related position.
