Overview

The Technical Project Manager leads execution of complex, multi-technology infrastructure and systems integration efforts in a mission-critical environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive Agile execution, coordinate cross-functional technical teams, and deliver results under tight timelines and high visibility. The successful candidate brings structure, accountability, and calm leadership to fast-moving technical efforts.


Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • DoD 8140 certification for 802 IT Project Manager (e.g., Security+, SSCP, CAP, or GSLC).
  • 8+ years of IT project management experience.
  • At least 5 years managing infrastructure or systems integration projects within complex, multi-technology environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and integrating WiFi, networking, voice, SATCOM, RF, and A/V systems across cross-functional technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute).
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical environment.
  • Extensive experience using project management software to track tasks, dependencies, resource allocation, and schedules.
  • Experience leveraging project management tooling as the primary execution mechanism.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage up to five concurrent major efforts simultaneously.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
  • SAFe certification aligned to enterprise agile delivery (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master).
  • Agile certifications such as CSM or PMI-ACP.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AZ-900.
  • PgMP certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • CISM or CISSP (particularly when security governance is a core responsibility).
  • Prior experience supporting classified, sensitive, or high-visibility programs within defense, intelligence, or military environments.
  • Experience operating in secure or restricted environments with elevated access controls and mission-critical operational constraints.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and ITIL practices in technical delivery environments.
  • Experience interfacing directly with senior government stakeholders, including briefing, coordination, and decision support.
  • Ability to provide a verifiable portfolio of prior work or representative samples aligned with the duties of the position.
