Overview
Group 1 Honda Owings Mills, part of Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail, is seeking a Used Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team!
In this role, you will help grow our pre-owned vehicle inventory by engaging with service customers through follow-up calls and in-person conversations to identify potential selling or trade-in opportunities. You will build relationships, generate interest, and connect customers with our Sales team to explore their options.
Responsibilities

Engage with customers visiting the Service Department to identify potential trade-in and vehicle acquisition opportunities

Make outbound follow-up calls to current and previous service customers

Build rapport with customers and create interest in having their vehicle evaluated for purchase or trade

Schedule vehicle appraisal and acquisition appointments

Maintain consistent and professional follow-up with prospective customers

Accurately document customer interactions, appointments, and follow-up activity

Partner closely with the Sales and Used Vehicle teams to ensure a smooth customer handoff

Deliver a friendly, professional, and low-pressure customer experience
Qualifications

Automotive BDC, customer service, or appointment-setting experience is preferred

Bilingual is a plus

Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver license and good driving record
Compensation: The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80'000/ a year based on experience.
