JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Service Technician to join our team. As a Cabinet Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of cabinets in residential and commercial settings. You will work closely with our team to ensure their cabinets are installed correctly and function properly. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Company vehicle is provided. Willing to train qualified candidates.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Repair and touch up cabinets as needed, including fixing scratches, dents, and other damages.
  • Perform routine maintenance on cabinets to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on job sites.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years of cabinetry and Carpentry experience preferred but not needed.
  • We are willing to train qualified candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from office.
  • Weekdays Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.
  • Familiarity with different types of cabinet materials and finishes a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in construction and woodworking a plus.
