The Carpenter's Helper supports small carpentry teams of 1 to 3 members on various construction sites. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, this role involves assisting with tasks that ensure efficient progress and maintain an organized work environment. Assignments rotate across different job locations, combining indoor and outdoor work environments. This position offers opportunities for growth toward becoming a Carpenter.
Responsibilities
- Perform site cleanup to maintain safe and organized work areas
- Assist carpenters with various construction tasks as needed
- Load and unload carpentry materials and tools efficiently
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in carpentry or related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic carpentry knowledge
- Familiarity with power tool operation
- Physical stamina for manual labor and outdoor work
- Strong teamwork skills
- Effective communication abilities
