System Administrator (**Active Top Secret Required**)
Location: Washington, DC / National Capital Region (Onsite – SCIF)

Overview
We are seeking a System Administrator to support the Treasury Foreign Intelligence Network (TFIN), a mission-critical classified IT environment supporting Treasury’s national security and intelligence missions. This role provides hands-on systems administration and operational support across classified environments, supporting both steady-state operations and surge or contingency activities in a highly controlled SCIF environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day systems administration support for classified environments
- Administer and maintain Production, Test, and Development environments, ensuring Test/Dev environments appropriately replicate generic production functionality
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and supporting infrastructure
- Apply and maintain system security controls in accordance with DISA STIGs, NIST 800-53, CNSS 1253, and Treasury security standards
- Perform system patching, backups, restores, and routine maintenance activities
- Administer Active Directory, group policy, user accounts, security groups, and access permissions
- Monitor system health, logs, and performance; proactively identify and resolve issues
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated system, application, and access issues
- Support data center operations, including fault tolerance, continuity, and disaster recovery activities
- Provide technical advice and support for the Treasury Secure Data Network (TSDN)
- Assist with RMF, ATO/IATT, and audit-related activities, including documentation and POA&M support
- Support technical platforms associated with insider threat detection or monitoring capabilities, as assigned
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and operational runbooks
- Participate in incident response, after-hours support, and continuity/COOP exercises as required
- Work closely with Government personnel and other contractors in a classified environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Experience administering systems in secure or regulated environments
- Familiarity with system hardening, patching, backups, and security compliance
- Experience supporting enterprise directory services (e.g., Active Directory)
- Understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks and operational security requirements
- Ability to work onsite in a SCIF and support on-call or after-hours requirements as needed
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting classified or Intelligence Community environments
- Familiarity with Insider Threat, monitoring, or audit-support platforms
- Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds)
- Exposure to virtualized or hybrid environments
- Experience with Solaris, NetApp, Cisco, Brocade, and AWS
