Job Description Inspectors - All Shifts Available 1st shift: 7am to 3pm 2nd shift: 3pm to 11pm 3rd shift: 11pm to 7am
$15/hr
• Visually inspect the product for defects and/or contamination according to product specific work instructions and departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Ensure quality of manufactured goods. • Ensure correct quantity of manufactured goods. • Inspect sealed bags and box products for quality prior to shipment to internal and/or external customers. • Operate bag-sealing equipment. • Weigh, document, and discard scrap generated from equipment. • Notify operators to ensure machine adjustments are made when necessary. • Package product for shipment to internal or external customers. • Maintain organized paperwork and records. • Maintain production level to standard. • Follow all quality guidelines in the performing of job function. • Train new associates in all aspects of the job when necessary. • Work in other areas and departments as requested. • Adherence to all regulatory and company safety rules, procedures, and policies; including PPE requirements. • Maintain a clean and safe workspace. Must follow contamination-control cleaning guidelines. • Perform all other duties as assigned
