Imagine You in the Role:
As we grow, we are looking for someone with experience in estimating and project management in the electrical industry to help us take it to the next level.
As Electrical Estimator and Project Manager, you won't be bored! This role is a challenging and rewarding position. You will be playing an integral and critical role in the lifeblood of the company, a big responsibility. With a lot of moving parts, fast-pace, and dynamic environment, it requires a balance between juggling many balls at the same time and getting the details right. Your day will consist of a range of interactions from working with peers, prospective customers, and vendors to putting your head down to focus on the detailed work.
The rolls and responsibilities are as follows:
Estimator - Includes evaluating and recommending projects available to bid, providing an accurate and complete bid utilizing Accubid, Blue Beam and Live Count. Proposal meeting the satisfaction of the client/general contractor. Having direct interaction with client/general contractor by traveling to project sites and meeting with them to develop and grow our market share. Evaluating the current market (i.e., market share, geography, customer service mix, etc.); identifying new markets. Working with Management to develop and execute a plan for market penetration which assures attainment of profit goals.
Project Manager – Responsibilities include managing small to mid-size projects. Utilizing prefabrication on projects using our prefab shop for more efficient installations and cost savings.
Other responsibilities to note- understand file location on file server, Utilizing Microsoft software, Bluebeam and becoming proficient in all aspects of Accubid including Change Order and Live Count, other tasks as needed.
Our work week on average consists of 45 hours per week. Office hours are Monday to Friday, starting your day between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.
You will need to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test before employment begins.
