VITG is looking for a Salesforce Developer who has proven capability to design and develop Solutions in Salesforce. Works with Business Analysts, Architects, and other members in the team to help drive innovation using the Salesforce platform.
Applicant Requirements:
- US citizen or must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have lived in the USA for three years of the last five years
- Must be able to obtain a US federal gov badge and eligible for Public Trust clearance
- Must be able to pass a VITG background check, including a drug test
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to all technical aspects of the project
- Responsible for developing through all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial technical designs, implementation, testing, to production deployments
- Ability to quickly learn new features, tools, technologies, and to communicate optimally with various business owners, technical staff members, other Application Development partners, User Exchange Group/Forums
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Salesforce best practices. Review code frequently
- Help establish the scope and effort estimates for development
- Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues
- Lead Proof of Concepts and technical solutioning. Establish technical vision and work with developers to turn it into reality
- Collaborate with all stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of the project
- Good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable solutions
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform including Lightning components using the Lightning Design System, Lightning Web Components or Lightning Aura Components and Apex (Batch, Controllers, Triggers)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience with declarative development on Salesforce using Workflows, Approval Processes, Process Builder, Flows, etc.
- Previous experience with implementing Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud. Solutions include Live Chat, Knowledge, Case Lifecycle Management, Assignment Rules, Reports and Dashboards, etc.
- Salesforce Experience Cloud design and development
- Deep understanding and configuration of SAML and oAuth flows
- Working with third-party tools and market-place solutions from the AppExchange
- Salesforce application and platform security tools. Solutions such as Checkmarx, AppOmni or similar
- Extensive experience with Salesforce integrations, both point-to-point and middleware
- Deployments using Copado are preferred. Knowledge of GIT and CI/CD is a must
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
