Now Hiring: Hotel Maintenance Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our hotel’s Engineering Department. This leadership role is essential in ensuring the property remains safe, fully operational, and aligned with brand standards and guest satisfaction goals.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees all maintenance functions within the property, providing direction, support, and supervision to the maintenance team. This role ensures timely completion of preventive maintenance, repairs, and compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team

• Assign, monitor, and verify completion of work orders and preventive maintenance tasks

• Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns

• Oversee repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces

• Troubleshoot and support complex HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building system issues

• Ensure proper maintenance of pools, mechanical rooms, and operational equipment

• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance logs, inspections, and completed work

• Manage tools, equipment, and inventory control

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and local regulations

• Support interdepartmental coordination to maintain overall property functionality

• Assist with scheduling, training, and performance oversight of maintenance staff

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance

• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred

• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems

• Excellent troubleshooting and organizational skills

• Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on when necessary

• Strong communication skills and service-oriented mindset

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks

• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts
