We are seeking a motivated dental assistant who is hard-working, responsible and a team player. The employee will play a vital role in preparing patients, managing dental tools, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This position requires independence in performing daily tasks, contributing to effective patient care for a typical daily load of 10-15 patients. Occasional workshops are offered to support professional growth. The office has brand new state-of-the-art equipment in an amazing location.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Sterilize and organize dental tools
- Take full mouth x-rays
- Provide chairside support during treatments
- Manage patient records and appointment scheduling
- Maintain dental equipment functionality
- Implement and uphold infection control standards
- Educate patients on oral health care
- Manage inventory of dental supplies
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in dental assisting
- Certificate in Dental Assisting
- Knowledge of dental radiography techniques
- Familiarity with infection control procedures
- Experience using dental software, specifically Open Dental
- Expertise in sterilization techniques
- Strong patient communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a dental team
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
