Overview
As a Material Handler, also known as a Returnable Plastic Container (RPC) Sorter, you’ll get to hand sort a container weighing about 10 ounces that issued to ship produce, eggs, meat, and other goods onto pallets for manufacturers. This is a vital role for our sites to ensure we maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy of performance!&nbsp; &nbsp;
&nbsp;
Hourly Pay:&nbsp;
&nbsp;$17.00/hr.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;
Shift(s):&nbsp;
3rd Shift: Thursday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm &amp; Friday – Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm

Responsibilities
&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>
Hand stack RPC’s on pallets to appropriate height, following inventory control instructions
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Examine products for quality standards
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Ensure all trash and debris is removed prior to returning to customer
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Wrap sorted pallets and secure for shipment
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the storage facility
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Accurately complete all paperwork to track daily progress&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>
High school degree or GED required
</li>
<li>
Excellent oral and written communication skills needed&nbsp;
</li>
<li>
Ability to work overtime when needed
</li>
</ul>
