Your Role
As our new Java API Engineer, you'll play a crucial part in our success by designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable APIs. You will be responsible for building the core services that power our platform, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

- Lead projects related to API design and development from conception to deployment.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Align with product and engineering teams to ensure API solutions meet business needs.

- Apply deep technical knowledge of Java and modern API development best practices.
- Analyze system performance data to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Synthesize complex technical requirements into clear, actionable plans.
Functional Competencies Skills and Execution
- Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency microservices and APIs using Java.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with comprehensive test coverage.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
- Ensure precision execution in the delivery of all API-related tasks.
What You Bring to the Table
Were looking for candidates who:
- Have significant experience building high-throughput, low-latency services.
- Are experts in Java and have a proven track record of developing robust APIs.
- Have Experience in multi-tenant application architecture, that can work with both SQL and NoSQL (preferably DynamoDB).
- Possess a strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Are skilled problem-solvers who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as code(CDK, CloudFormation)
Core Java & Framework Experience:
- Java 21 - Advanced knowledge of modern Java features and best practices
- Spring Boot 3.4+ - Deep understanding of Spring ecosystem
Cloud & AWS Services (Preferable):
- AWS SDK for Java v2 - Deep integration experience with various cloud services like S3,CloudWatch.
- AWS CDK with TypeScript - Infrastructure as Code for:
- ECS clusters and services (Preferable)
- API Gateway configuration (Preferable)
- VPC and networking setup (Preferable)
- Application deployment pipelines (Preferable)
