Full time Preschool Montessori Teacher's Assistant

This position is working with a team, including a Montessori trained teacher within a safe environment to support a Montessori learning environment for children age 3, 4, and 5 years old.
Responsibilities include safe and competent oversight of children during indoor and outdoor activities, assisting children with their activities and work as needed, supporting independence in daily living and supporting joy in learning, maintaining ratio and safety procedures as regulations, assisting Head Teacher with preparing the classroom throughout the day, assisting children with their activities while supporting their autonomy. Some cleaning and resetting of the environment each day to help keep things in order. This job requires a team player who is interested in learning about Montessori education and is willing to accept coaching from others, is patient, calm, and understanding with children.
Shift hours are 8:15- 5:30 M - F. Excellent opportunity for an education major, special ed major, or psychology major, and to get in-person experience with Montessori and early education.
