Job DescriptionIndustrial Maintenance Mechanic (Electromechanical & Fabrication)

A day in this role: You arrive ready to keep a busy manufacturing environment running at its best. You scan the floor, prioritize work orders, then jump into electrical troubleshooting on a machine that needs a relay replaced. After lunch, you fabricate a small bracket, complete a few equipment repairs, and wrap up with facility upkeep so common areas and buildings stay in top condition—all while following health, safety, and environmental guidelines and working independently with care.

What you will do

  • Preserve the condition and functionality of production equipment and facility spaces.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including running power, troubleshooting connections, and replacing relays.
  • Perform equipment repairs and hands-on fabrication (manufacturing welding required, cutting, and blueprint reading).
  • Handle facility maintenance to keep buildings and common areas in excellent shape.
  • Research technical information and source parts using manuals and the internet.
  • Work autonomously, responsibly, and efficiently in a fast-paced setting while observing all safety and environmental standards.

What you bring

  • Ability to work from—and create—clear lists of priorities.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred experience with robots or laminators.
  • Familiarity with basic electrical tasks (running power, troubleshooting connections, replacing relays).
  • Fabrication capabilities: manufacturing welding required, cutting, and reading blueprints.
  • Ability to use technical books for reference.
  • Ability to use the internet to research, troubleshoot, and locate parts.
