The Legal Assistant will provide essential support to a small legal team of 2 attorneys specializing in Insurance Defense, Personal Injury, and Insurance Subrogation. This role requires managing case documentation, performing legal research, and maintaining effective client communication. Utilizing Microsoft Office tools, the Legal Assistant will help streamline case management and ensure smooth office operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize legal documents and correspondence
- Conduct legal research to support case development
- Communicate frequently with clients to provide updates and gather information
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records
- Oversee calendar management for deadlines and appointments
- Perform filing and document handling duties
- Support billing and invoicing procedures
