What's The Job?
This role leads plumbing crews across multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring high-quality installation and coordination on multi-family and commercial new construction sites. You actively manage field operations, support crews hands-on when needed, and maintain strong relationships with builders and subcontractors. Over time, this position offers a clear path to transition into a project manager role with a higher pay threshold.
What Do I Do?
- Lead and supervise plumbing crews on multiple projects at the same time, ensuring work progresses safely and efficiently
- Coordinate day-to-day activities on multi-family and commercial new construction projects, including scheduling and material ordering
- Act as a hands-on leader who is willing to be “bags on” and step into the field to assist with installations and problem-solving
- Interpret and use blueprints and construction drawings to plan and guide installation work and verify accuracy of completed work.
- Collaborate closely with builders, general contractors, and subcontractors to manage expectations, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to field staff, fostering a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.
What Do I Need?
- Proven experience in plumbing, with a strong experience in new construction
- Hands-on experience with commercial and multi-family plumbing installation
- Construction management experience, particularly in coordinating field crews and multiple jobs
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate their work within overall project schedules
- Ability to handle material ordering and coordination

Work Environment
You work in a blended office and field environment, splitting time between project sites and administrative or planning activities. Field work primarily involves multi-family and commercial new construction projects, where you interact closely with crews, builders, and subcontractors. The role requires regular presence on active construction sites, including exposure to typical construction conditions, tools, and equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
