Field Service Technician - Training Provided
Are you a driven, technically inclined professional who thrives working independently? We're excited to invite you to become a Field Service Technician on our team. You'll play a crucial role in installing monitoring devices on propane tanks across the United States for the largest propane suppliers in the country. This fully remote position requires 100% travel, offering you the unique opportunity to explore different sites nationwide while being your own boss. Compensation is performance-based, and you'll operate as a contractor, managing your own expenses and can work freely 7 days a week with a set income rate per install. No Experience is needed, we will train you extensively and work hands on with you until you are comfortable on your own in the field.
Job Description
As an Installation Technician, you'll be responsible for installing monitors on residential and commercial propane tanks. These easy-to-install devices take an average of five to ten minutes per installation. You will receive weekly routes covering small regions within a state, maximizing earnings and minimizing overhead
Monitor Description
Propane tank telemetry monitors are advanced devices used to remotely track propane levels within tanks. These monitors, equipped with sensors and communication technology (cellular or satellite), provide real-time data to a central monitoring system. This ensures timely refills and prevents run-outs, making them indispensable for residential, commercial, and industrial applications where a continuous propane supply is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently travel to designated locations for propane tank monitoring installations
- Efficiently install gauges and monitoring devices on propane tanks
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate records of installations
- Bi-weekly report of your inventory
- Adhere to procedures for maintaining and reporting inventory
- Manage your own job-related expenses and submit accurate invoices upon route completion
- Collaborate with partner companies with professionalism
Requirements:
- Legal authorization to work in the USA
- Self-motivated and accountable for your work
- Must be 18+ years old
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
- Work at least 10 Months out of the year
Compensation:
- Potential to install 25-60+ monitors daily
- Earnings depend on your productivity and efficiency
- Bi-monthly pay
- As a 1099 contract employee, no taxes are withheld; you are responsible for your own taxes
- Most of our team makes $120K-$200K a year
Flexible Scheduling:
- Work between 8 am to 8 pm, seven days a week
- Must work 5 full days a week minimum
- Manage your own schedule to fit your lifestyle
- Commit to a three-month contract term, with the option to renew or take breaks in between
