Job Title: Dock Associate
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Shift: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Position Summary
The Dock Associate is responsible for efficiently loading and unloading freight while maintaining a safe, organized, and high-performing warehouse environment. This role ensures accurate handling, sorting, and tracking of shipments to support on-time, error-free deliveries.
Key Responsibilities

<li>Load and unload freight using appropriate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner</li>
<li>Utilize RF scanners to track shipments and ensure accurate package movement</li>
<li>Sort and organize freight based on delivery routes and customer requirements</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of dock areas to prevent accidents and delays</li>
<li>Perform daily inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations</li>
<li>Follow all safety, security, and operational procedures for cross-dock operations</li>
<li>Maintain accurate handling and documentation of freight</li>
<li>Collaborate with warehouse team members to improve workflow and efficiency</li>
<li>Provide professional and courteous communication with team members, vendors, and customers</li>
<li>Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information</li>
</ul>
