Job DescriptionSenior Contract Administrator (Site Lead)
Position Overview Lead contract administrator responsible for providing full spectrum contracting support services to the 355 Contracting Squadron (CONS) at Davis-Monthan AFB. This position serves as the Site Lead, overseeing contract preparation, solicitation, award, modification, and closeout processes for Services, Supplies, and Construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as Site Lead with full authority for contractor team performance and daily contract operations
- Safeguard sensitive information in accordance with federal regulations
- Assist in development and execution of approved acquisition strategies
- Prepare file documentation for competitive and non-competitive procurements
- Provide advice, recommendations, research, and analysis to support Contracting Officer decisions
- Prepare electronic synopsis announcements and solicitation documents
- Support source selection processes and evaluation of proposals
- Assist in contract closeout activities and documentation
- Coordinate with Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) for payment processing
- Provide leadership and technical direction to lower-level contract personnel
- Support meetings, conferences, and site visits as required
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- 10 years of contracting experience within a Federal Government Agency
- Minimum 3 years of base level support experience in purchasing commercial supplies, services, and minor construction
- DAWIA Contracting Professional or FAC-C Professional certification or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis of technical and cost/pricing data
- Ability to read and interpret acquisition policy, regulations, and directives
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Experience with CON-IT, DEAMS, and PIEE systems (preferred)
- Construction contracting experience (preferred)
- Department of Air Force contracting experience (preferred)
