Nanny – Part-Time (Main Line Area)

A warm and professional family on the Main Line (outside of Philadelphia) is seeking an experienced, dependable, and engaging Nanny to care for two young children after school. This is a long-term opportunity with a consistent schedule in a welcoming and supportive home.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and genuinely enjoys working with children. The ideal candidate is positive, communicative, and takes pride in creating a safe, fun, and structured environment. Comfort around dogs is important, as the family has a friendly pet.

Position Highlights

  • Competitive hourly rate ($25 - $32 per hour) based on experience and education
  • Consistent weekly schedule with guaranteed hours

Responsibilities

  • School and activity pick-ups (must have reliable transportation)
  • Plan and engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities
  • Prepare healthy snacks and assist with light meal prep
  • Children's laundry
  • Light household tasks including dishes and maintaining organization

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nanny experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Strong references (verifiable)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Guaranteed 16–20 hours per week
  • Optional additional hours available, including:
    • School holidays/days off
    • 2–4 evenings per month

Compensation

  • $25–$32 per hour (based on experience and education)
