About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our facility by performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks. This position requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and structural issues promptly and efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment to prevent downtime and extend the lifespan of assets. Additionally, this role involves performing precision measurements and carpentry work to support facility upkeep and improvements. Ultimately, the Maintenance Technician contributes to a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment that supports overall business operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in plumbing, mechanical repair, and electrical wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders and perform manual labor.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to talk and hear clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Previous experience working in a commercial or industrial maintenance environment.
  • Basic carpentry skills and drywall installation experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on plumbing systems, including repairs and installations.
  • Conduct precision measurements to ensure accuracy in repairs and installations.
  • Repair and install drywall, carpentry structures, and mechanical systems as needed.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical wiring issues to maintain safe and reliable power distribution.
  • Climb ladders and access elevated areas safely to perform inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report issues and coordinate repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any safety hazards promptly.
