Senior Paralegal - Personal Injury Litigation

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of personal injury litigation files, from intake through trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and settlement packages
• Prepare and review discovery documents, deposition summaries, and medical chronologies
• Coordinate expert witnesses, medical specials, and trial exhibits
• Assist in trial preparation, including motions in limine, pre-trial memoranda, and courtroom materials
• Monitor and respond to subpoenas, court deadlines, and filing requirements
• E-file court documents accurately and efficiently in NJ state and federal courts
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, government agencies, and opposing counsel

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of litigation experience in personal injury law
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with TimeMatters case management software preferred
• Familiarity with Westlaw and/or LexisNexis
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to client confidentiality
• Law firm experience is required
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required
