Join Our Legacy of Impact – Make a Real Difference Every Day!

At Lutheran Family and Children’s Services (LFCS), we have a 157-year history of empowering children and families to overcome life’s toughest challenges. When you join our team, you’re becoming a part of a mission that transforms lives and builds brighter futures—now and for generations to come.

Why LFCS?

  • Meaningful Work: Your efforts will directly help shape a better world for those who need it most.
  • Impactful Mission: Join a team dedicated to creating safety and stability for kids across Missouri.
  • A Legacy of Change: Be part of an organization that creates a lasting impact in the communities we serve.

Your Role:

  • Enter contributions and pledges from all donors statewide and generate acknowledgement documents.
  • Process tax credit applications from donors to ensure acceptability by the state; respond to inquiries from the state regarding applications and provide audit support as needed.
  • Create monthly financial reports for the development and accounting departments.
  • Maintain data integrity, generating reports on campaign performance, creating donor segments for targeted communication, and providing data-driven insights to help strategize and optimize donor engagement and retention.
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Uphold a high degree of confidentiality and discretion when managing proprietary, sensitive, or personal information, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience with donor databases, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage and prioritize tasks with accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data issues, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Determine daily priorities regarding gift entry/acknowledgment, data reports needed, and database maintenance and administration. Determine the appropriate coding necessary for entering and maintaining gift information.
  • A mission-driven individual who fully embraces and models LFCS values and can forge a mutually respectful partnership with team members.
  • Associate’s degree
