A highly experienced and strategic Senior IT Consultant – Solution Architect is required to lead the design, implementation, and integration of SAP Ariba, Fieldglass, and S/4HANA solutions. The role demands deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and a proven track record in delivering complex SAP projects in alignment with best practices and SAP recommendations.
Responsibilities
· Solution Architecture & Design:
o Support with end-to-end architecture for SAP Ariba, Fieldglass, and S/4HANA implementations.
o Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and industry standards.
o Design scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions between Ariba, Fieldglass, and S/4HANA.
· Implementation & Integration:
o Lead full lifecycle implementations including planning, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
o Develop and manage interfaces using SAP PI/PO, CPI, or other middleware tools.
o Ensure seamless data flow and process integration across procurement, contingent workforce, and core ERP functions.
· Business Analysis & Solutioning:
o Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
o Recommend optimal solutions with functional and technical specifications that balance business goals with system capabilities.
· Issue Resolution & Optimization:
o Identify common and known issues across SAP Ariba, Fieldglass, and S/4HANA landscapes.
o Support and coordinate root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement strategies.
· Governance & Best Practices:
o Establish and enforce governance models for SAP solution design and delivery, as well as clean core.
o Document architecture decisions, integration patterns, and technical standards.
· Collaboration:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, IT, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of Procurement application.
· Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members and end-users on Procurement application best practices and solutions.
· Clean Core
o Ensure adherence to SAP Clean Core principles, minimizing custom code and promoting extensibility through SAP BTP and side-by-side extensions.
o Advocate for standardized processes and modular architecture to maintain system integrity and simplify upgrades.
o Design solutions that leverage SAP-recommended extensibility options such as In-App Extensibility, Key User Tools, and SAP BTP services.
o Evaluate and refactor legacy customizations to align with clean core strategies.
o Promote decoupled integration using APIs and event-driven architectures to reduce system dependencies.
o Collaborate with development teams to ensure custom developments are compliant with SAP’s clean core guidelines.
Skills:
· Technical Skills:
o Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP consulting with at least 3 full-cycle implementations involving Ariba, Fieldglass, and S/4HANA.
o In-depth knowledge of SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Buying & Invoicing), Fieldglass (Contingent Workforce Management), and S/4HANA (Procure-to-Pay, Finance, Logistics).
o Proven experience designing and implementing integrations using SAP middleware (CPI, PI/PO).
o Strong understanding of SAP best practices, architecture principles, and integration strategies.
o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
o Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
· Qualifications:
o SAP certifications in Ariba, Fieldglass, or S/4HANA.
o Experience with cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise integration scenarios.
o Familiarity with SAP BTP, APIs, and extensibility options.
