AHP, Associated Health Professionals, Inc., a Joint Commission Certified supplemental healthcare staffing agency, is seeking experienced to support facilities throughout Northern California. The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care across multiple specialties, including Medical-Surgical, Pediatrics, Critical Care, and Emergency departments. The nurse will collaborate closely with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care tailored to diverse patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care and administer medications safely
- Monitor vital signs and respond to patient condition changes
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide critical interventions
- Perform specialty procedures relevant to assigned departments
- Uphold infection control protocols and safety standards
- Work flexible hours including night and weekend shifts
- Engage in cross-specialty training to broaden clinical expertise
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of clinical nursing experience
- Skilled in patient assessment and IV therapy
- Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
- Effective time management skills
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
