Job Description

AHP, Associated Health Professionals, Inc., a Joint Commission Certified supplemental healthcare staffing agency, is seeking experienced to support facilities throughout Northern California. The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care across multiple specialties, including Medical-Surgical, Pediatrics, Critical Care, and Emergency departments. The nurse will collaborate closely with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care tailored to diverse patient needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care and administer medications safely
Monitor vital signs and respond to patient condition changes
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management
Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Respond promptly to emergencies and provide critical interventions
Perform specialty procedures relevant to assigned departments
Uphold infection control protocols and safety standards
Work flexible hours including night and weekend shifts
Engage in cross-specialty training to broaden clinical expertise

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) License

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of clinical nursing experience
Skilled in patient assessment and IV therapy
Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
Effective time management skills
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
