Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and guest-focused Front-of-House Manager to oversee daily dining room operations in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service, leading and developing front-of-house staff, maintaining operational standards, and supporting overall restaurant performance. The ideal candidate is an energetic, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating memorable dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all front-of-house operations, including the dining room, host stand, takeout, and cashier functions, to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, coach, and develop servers, hosts, bussers, and support staff while promoting a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Ensure every guest receives friendly, attentive, and efficient service by maintaining high hospitality standards.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to enhance satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and performance management of front-of-house team members.
- Monitor labor costs and staffing levels while maintaining excellent service during peak meal periods.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen leadership to ensure accurate communication, timely food delivery, and efficient service.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily operational responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, health department, safety, and company operating standards.
- Support sales growth by promoting a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service dining environment.
- Previous diner, breakfast, or family dining experience is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing labor, scheduling, guest relations, and daily restaurant operations.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
