A Home Health Care PCA is responsible for providing in-home care and assistance to patients and families. This includes providing assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, errands, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation. The PCA must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized and reliable, and be able to follow instructions. CPR and first aid certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license and valid insurance is required. The PCA must also be able to abide by HIPAA regulations and ensure the privacy and safety of their clients.
