Summary
CEI’s Custom Applications division is seeking an AZURE DevOps Architect to work on our team to help customers achieve their DevOps / automation vision using modern technologies and agile methods.
The right candidate will have passion and drive to deliver great solutions with outstanding customer service. They should expect to work with a team of experts and contribute back to that team. They will hold themselves to the higher standards CEI delivers to customers every day with an affinity to stay on the cutting-edge. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in implementing DevOps processes in Azure API Management.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities will include the following:
- Deliver billable development services focused on client relationships
- Exceed expectations of customers and end users
- Gain valuable experience and industry certifications
- Act as true consultants providing fully customized application development
- Help stand up and verifying the new environments / regions
- Design, plan, and conduct source code migrations
- Upgrading applicable components for automated deployments
- Mentor client team members through shared execution (for example: shared approvals of pull requests)
Technologies
CEI’s Technology Solutions team works with a wide array of modern technologies. If it is custom software development, we likely do it. This position will work with a variety of the following technologies:
• Azure Cloud, API Management, and networking
• Azure DevOps / CI/CD / ARM Templates implementation
• Terraform for automated deployments
• Jenkins build pipelines
• Scripting with PowerShell and/or bash using the Azure SDKs/CLI
• Kubernetes fundamentals (Pods, Services, Ingress)
• Experience with observability/monitoring platforms such as App Insights, Dynatrace, ELK, etc.
Nice to Haves:
• API authentication / authorization experience using JWT, mTLS certificates, etc.
• Development skills using common API toolsets and technologies
• Azure Policies and Governance
• DevOps skills using Bitbucket, GitHub, Azure DevOps
Requirements:
• Must have a minimum of a completed Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
• 5+ years of related AZURE experience
