About Us

PartyCate is a growing catering company based in South Florida, serving private events, corporate clients, and celebrations with fresh, Mediterranean-inspired food. We also offer a line of packaged retail products. We're looking for an energetic, organized, and people-oriented assistant to help us grow.

The Role

This is a hands-on, all-around role working directly with the owner. You'll split your time between meeting clients in the field, managing our social media, and keeping daily operations running smoothly. If you enjoy talking to people, love food and events, and want to help build a brand from the ground up, this is for you.

Responsibilities

Sales & Client Outreach

Visit offices, event venues, wedding planners, schools, and local businesses to introduce PartyCate and generate new catering accounts
Follow up with leads, prepare quotes, and help close bookings
Build and maintain relationships with repeat clients and referral partners
Represent PartyCate at tastings, events, and networking opportunities

Marketing & Social Media

Manage PartyCate's Instagram (and other channels as needed): posting, stories, comments, and DMs
Photograph and film food, events, and behind-the-scenes content
Track engagement and suggest ideas to grow our audience
Help with promotions, flyers, and local marketing campaigns

Executive & Operations Support

Manage the owner's calendar, client communications, and follow-ups
Keep client lists, inquiries, and orders organized (CRM or spreadsheets)
Coordinate event logistics and communicate with the kitchen team
Handle general administrative tasks as they come up.

Requirements

1–2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, hospitality, events, or an assistant role
Strong communication skills and a confident, friendly presence in person and on the phone
Hands-on experience running a business or brand social media account (Instagram required)
Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel across Broward and Palm Beach counties
Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends for events
Comfortable with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office

Nice to Have

Experience in catering, restaurants, or event planning
Existing network in the South Florida corporate or events scene
Spanish fluency
Basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, etc.)
Florida Food Handler certificate
