Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the building, equipment, and facility systems to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. This role performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on building systems including electrical, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and mechanical equipment

• Conduct preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment

• Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

• Repair and maintain building infrastructure such as doors, walls, fixtures, and flooring

• Assist with equipment moves, installations, and facility improvement projects

• Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs when needed

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications

• 2+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems

• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and use common hand and power tools

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders when required

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
