Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the building, equipment, and facility systems to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. This role performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs on building systems including electrical, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and mechanical equipment

Conduct preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment

Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

Repair and maintain building infrastructure such as doors, walls, fixtures, and flooring

Assist with equipment moves, installations, and facility improvement projects

Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs when needed
-
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications
-
2+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems

Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and use common hand and power tools

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders when required

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
